Who pays for Next Door

Only the home page of Next Door carries paid links. There are three, each marked Ad. The first sits in the menu. The second is in a block just below the first screen, and the third in a block near the end.

All three lead to the same online casino partner. The site earns a commission from it, and the partner can change. The paid links are described here, and the partner is left unnamed.

Inner pages carry no paid links. That covers the four venue pages, for Moncton, Edmundston, Tobique First Nation and Fredericton, and it covers this page as well.

The paid links lead to a private online casino. It is not ALC.ca, and it is not run or licensed by the province. It has no connection with the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation, with Atlantic Lottery or with any of the four venues in this guide.

ALC.ca player tools, such as Take a Break and its limits, do not apply there. Limits set on ALC.ca do not carry over to the partner's site. In the province's own words, ALC.ca is the only legal and regulated online gambling platform in New Brunswick.

Venues, operators, Atlantic Lottery, the province and help services never pay this site. Links to the four venues and to help services are never paid either.

Distances are straight lines between map points from OpenStreetMap, computed by the guide. They are not driving distances, and no page gives travel times. The clocks read the time zones built into the reader's browser. Neither the distances nor the clocks change with who pays the site.
